Career Forecast

What’s the skinny on the hottest careers?

As any meteorologist will tell you, forecasting is a tricky business. It’s based on facts, previous trends and opinions about what may occur in the future. Toss in the unexpected and unexplainable and voila, you have all the ingredients needed to make a pretty good guess.

But do not despair; it’s not all gloom and doom when forecasting the viability of your career over the years to come. We’ve looked at a number of career forecasts and found similarities and differences in virtually all. Although all information gathered can have a certain slant, we decided to use a forecast that was developed without the presence of any advertising.

For this we turned to The U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Statistics. The DOL produced a number of forecasts that may help you in choosing the right career.
