What is the e-CollegeDegree.com Scholarship?
The $1,000 scholarship award program is part of our mission to help distance learning students pay for the their online education.
Who can apply for the scholarship?
Anyone age 18 years of age or older (as of 01/01/06). You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. You may study any major and attend or plan to attend any online college or university based in the U.S.
How do I apply?
We accept online applications only. Please apply using the online application form.
When is the deadline?
Applications must be submitted online by midnight CST, December 15th, 2006.
How can I use the award?
You may use the award for tuition, textbooks, room and board, or any other education related item you choose. Basically, how you use the award is up to you!
Award amount:
One $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.
How are the winners selected?
Winners are chosen by a committee which bases its decision primarily on the submitted essay. The decision of the selection committee is final.
How do I know if I'm a winner?
Due to the number of applications that we receive we can only notify the winners of the scholarship award. Winners for each year's competition will be contacted by January 1st, 2007. If you do not receive an official notification by mail or email by January 15th, 2006, then you are not a winner. Please feel free to apply for next year's scholarship. Winners will be posted on this web site on or before February 1, 2007.
